The Future of Europe Challenge

Our final challenge, the Future of Europe, is a chance to accumulate all the knowledge from the previous sessions and apply them to develop a communication plan for the European Commission, where my team chose the topic of Europe’s recovery from COVID-19. My team (Annika, Mariam, Ran and I) proposed to develop an app, an online launch event and physical booths at local markets to collect citizens’ opinions and suggestions.

I am very glad to say that our pitch with Klasja and Maximiliaan was successful; we managed to deliver our message and ideas, and it was a pleasure to receive their questions and feedbacks on our proposal. From that, we could know what are the strengths of this communication plan, and what should be improved (for example, security issues regarding the app). The (virtual) meeting with them was an honour to me, and it definitely gave me a lot of experiences on not just knowledge on Europe, but also my pitching and presentation skills.
