A picture that tells a story

In the first session of part 2, we were told to bring a picture that tells a story to the class. This picture was taken by me in the summer of 2020 in Hanoi, Vietnam. This was the time when I had my summer break back in my home country, and this is my favourite cafe near the West Lake. The weather was nice, and the number of COVID cases were good.

This is actually the drawing of my boyfriend. We decided to take 'visual' notes of the beautiful places that we've been to, and this is one of those places. It was sunny after rainy days. In 2020, I believe we all treasure the capacity to go to places whenever we want to more than ever. We had no idea what would happen next at that time, but at the moment when looking back, this picture brought a lot of memories and nostalgic feelings. I believe after COVID, we would pay more attention to nature and things that happen around us whenever we hang out.
